Elise's favorite color is RED! She is abounding with energy and loves to touch, move and inspire folks in realizing their dreams!
She was born in France, not far from her favorite place on earth called Camargue, where her favorite wild ponies run! Her dream is to go to the Camargue and paint the majestic creatures plein aire.
She holds her Masters Degree in Life Sciences from the University of Illinois, her Associate Degree in Music from the College of Marin, and is currently working on her Fine Arts Degree. She is a Certified Feldenkrais practitioner. She is a teacher, writer, artist and singer.
Elise has been making things her entire life, coming from a long line of needle arts women and uses her skills and talents to create trashion fashion with Marin County Youth for live stage performance shows. She is a regular gallery exhibitor in juried shows in the Bay Area.
She is Board Member for the non-profit organization, Northern California Women's Caucus For Art, for which she writes a bi-monthly e-newsletter. She is a Founding Member of the Plexus Artist Group, and creates hats for ladies with breast cancer, as well as participates in numerous group artists shows. She is a member of the Marin Museum of Contemporary Arts, where she delves into the world of Equus and teaches watercolor and silk painting, in her private artist studio. Click here to see her resume.
